Since I started this blog there has definitely been one question I have been asked more than others, what is the best cruelty free foundation. Now I have my personal favourites, which I have reviewed here and here, but my skin is oily, sensitive and I like full coverage. You may have dry skin and like minimal coverage, so my fave foundation may be useless for you (although in all honesty I still think these would both be good, they are great all rounders!!). But, with finding so many new make up brands recently I have finally found a cruelty free option for a full spectrum of skin types so have have pulled together my list of the best cruelty free, vegan foundations for your skin type.
On the list below there are some I have tried, and love, and others I have only heard good things about but rest assured all are on the list through at least a recommendation! I hope you find the perfect one for you and if you can’t see your favourite that you think others should know about, or want to know more about any of the brands, just let me know in the comments below.
I can personally recommend both the Charlotte Tilbury and Sara Hill foundations. Both have been really good on my skin and last the full day. They both also have great coverage. the Wet n Wild foundation was a find through various YouTubers who have recommended it for oily skin.
My skin has never been dry, so none of these are personal recommendations, but I have looked into them each extensively and they seem to be perfect for those of you with dry skin.
I have super sensitive skin so could recommend Gosh Foundation Drops, Charlotte Tilbury and Sara Hill foundation in this category too, but for the sake of bringing you more names and options, the three I specifically picked for being for sensitive skin are those with no nasties.
Clearly not a skin type, but lots of people ask me about foundation for pale skin and luckily there are actually loads of options out there.
