I know one of the hardest things for me when going cruelty free was what I could actually buy.  So many claim this and that, but when it all comes down to it, they actually do test on animals at some level.  Be it their ingredients, their parent company, they get another company to do the testing for them, or they say they only test on animals “where required by law” i.e. in China.

I have created a new tab on the top of the page, which is ingeniously called, “Cruelty Free Brands” and this will be a current list of all brands and their stance.  I will update this monthly.  The process for getting this info is simple, I email each and every company and then cross reference with both Peta and the Leaping Bunny website.

So for today here is my cruelty free swap guide.

Please do not look at this list and be dismayed by the lack of brands.  There are loads more out there, I am just having to check for myself they all are truly cruelty free before I encourage others to buy with them!!!

This list will be updated and blogged about soon, I promise!  But for now, if you can just change to the above it is a start, and starting small is easy 🙂
